Specialized fans for sludge dryer cells
Sludge dryer cells require ventilation to dry sludge and thus form (bio)gas and extract organic granulate. To optimize this process, many years of application know-how and specialized equipment is required.
VFDs for the renovation of 31 sludge dryer fans
GMB BioEnergy needed to update 31 drying/ climate controlled fans for their plant, 30kW each from DOL to VSD. The Emotron FDU048-061 variable frequency drive including options was chosen for this project.
The Emotron drives were preferred due to their robustness and ability to handle warm, humid and dusty environments. Additionally, the easy menu structure and 4-line display makes it easy to run. Service offer including 24/7 response
A service agreement including maintenance and service response was chosen for peace of mind. The knowledgeable service team that helped install the drives is also available on a 24/7 response agreement. Every second year, the team calls in for regular maintenance.
