Control unit for small rotary heat exchangers

Emotron EMX-P is a compact control unit for speed control of small rotary heat exchangers. It offers reliable operation, minimal losses and high torque. Set-up is easy since the unit is tuned when delivered.

 

Integrated functions reduce losses
Emotron EMX-P is connected to a 25 W or 40 W output motor (max. 0.7 A) with gear and tachometer. Several integrated functions ensure stable and reliable operation. A new technology provides more efficient control with smaller losses and higher torque. Greater speed range gives less temperature oscillation.

 

Stable temperature control
Emotron EMX-P has an input for connection of a tachometer to offer full speed control. An integrated linearisation function between control signal and rotor efficiency, provides better conditions for stable temperature control. Direction of rotation and type of speed control is selectable.

 

Cost-efficient installation and set-up
The control unit and the connected motor can easily be placed inside the heat exchanger housing. No expensive screened cables are required. Set-up is quick since the control unit is tuned and ready when delivered.

 

Reduced maintenance
Built-in soft start and stop functionality reduces equipment wear. An integrated automatic purging operation ensures efficient function and reduces maintenance costs.
